Milton Abbas is a picturesque village and the Hambros Arms a comfortable inn. Staff very welcoming. The view from our room at the back was spoilt by a discarded sink, chairs, bottles, cans and long grass. Having said that we would certainly go back!

I was really lucky as I had the one room with a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was basic but good value and edible. Burger was most excellent. Also had a bit more pricey meal next door in Halifax Hall which was good too.

Facilities clean and tidy. Real cups and saucers would have been so much nicer - if I had known they were plastic in the room I would have brought my own mug! Breakfast very good and staff were polite and friendly.

Very clean and spacious. There were 2 showers and 2 toilets between 5 single bedrooms so wasn't queing. Kitchen fully equipped. People very friendly and helpful. Most impressed.
